Operations research is a integrated applied science combining qualitative analysis method and quantitative analysis method. It solves special problems coming from real world using current science and technology and mathematical approaches. So it can provide quantitative gist for making the best or better decisions. This course covers the main parts of operations research. They are linear programming and its dual theory, objective programming, transportation problem, network models, network programming and dynamic programming, etc. Current soft wares are also introduced on the course and opportunities to use them will be provided to students.
