Supply chain management is a set of approaches utilized to efficiently integrate suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and stores, so that merchandise is produced and distributed at the right quantities, to the right locations, and at the right time, in order to minimize systemwide costs while satisfying service level requirements. There is a characteristics that the demand fluctuation in supply chain increases along the upstream. To effectively decrease the fluctuation and realize the coordination will improve the service level of the supply chain. With the help of operations research, modeling and finding solutions will be useful to support analyzing, designing and making improvement for the supply chain.
