This course is one of compulsory courses for students majoring in mechanical engineering and automation. The object of this course is the design of machine manufacturing and equipment. Its’ design principles and methods are introduced overall and systematically.
Three machines, etal cutting machine, machine tool fixtures and transmission equipment, run through the whole course. The contents mainly include machine’s overall design, driving system design, critical components design, special clamps design and common transmission devices design, according to the basic trains of thought of metal cutting machine, machine tool fixtures and transmission equipment.
By studying this course, students will understand and grasp function, principles and design approaches of machine manufacture equipment. Students will be trained to obtain the ability of overall design and structural design of machine manufacturing equipment.
