Through the course, students can acquire the basic concept, theory and methods of computer-aided design, computer-aided process planning, computer-aided NC programming, computer-aided quality management, and CAD/CAPP/CAM integration technology. The course focuses on geometric modelling, group technology, variant CAPP and creative CAPP, manual programming and CAD/CAM graphic NC programming. The course establishes a foundation for students to have apposite skill of application computer in product design, process panning, NC machining and quality control in mechanical industry. Combination of theory and practice is the characteristics of the course. Capability upgrade of students is the aim of the course.
