This course mainly introduces the characteristics, composition, simulation and preliminary application of the process industry large equipment automatic control system, which is represented by the strip rolling process. It also introduces the characteristics of the rolling process control, the basic principles and the control methods of the computer control system in the rolling process, the single loop control system in the rolling production process, the principle, design, and basic applications of a typical complex control system, the basic principle and concept of the thickness control, shape control, tension control in the strip rolling process. Students may master the solid basic theoretical knowledge of the large equipment automatic control system, be equipped with the ability to express the control system, model, analysis and solve by learning this course, and the ability to solve the engineering problems in the large equipment automatic control system by comprehensively using the basic theoretical knowledge and technology.
