This course covers the basic knowledge of the steel metallurgical principle, main technologic process, main mechanical equipment and their basic working principle and features. The course may help undergraduate students to understand characteristics of metallurgy mechanical design by learning the function of typical metallurgical equipment, scheme comparison for the design of metallurgical equipment, the typical structure design. It’s useful for the students to analyze and solve different kinds of complex engineering problems.
