This course is an introduction of mechanics to freshmen which includes lectures, factory and workshop visits and seminars. The primary aim of the course is to help students learn about mechanical engineering and provide a guidance to choose a specialty.
Upon completion of this course, students will-
1.Have the knowledge of mechanical development, mechanical design and manufacture as well as mechanical detection and control.
2.Understand the concept of mechanism, machine, machinery, mechatronic systems, etc.
3.Learn about the curriculum structure of mechanical engineering, required professional abilities and fields of work.
4.Develop skills in searching, analyzing and summarizing literatures.
5.Enhance the ability to conclude, summarize and express.
