In order to develop the ability of multi-disciplinary comprehensive application, practical operation and understand the characteristics of industrial robots, School of Mechanical Engineering offers the course of “Comprehensive Practical Training of Industrial Robot Technology” which has the features of basic, comprehensiveness and applicability. The course has a purpose of developing an in-depth understanding about the industrial robot technology and practical applications, which is based on the platform of "Industrial Robot and Production Automation Training System". Through the overall composition and function analysis of industrial robot and production automation training system, the demonstration teaching of industrial robot, the study and practice of the mechanical structure of automatic production line, the study and practice of the system electrical control principle and so on, the course trains the students to master the basic concepts and technical applications of industrial robots and production automation so as to establish the foundation of further study of Robotics and correlated curriculum.
