The design method of vehicle and main assemblies of chassis are introduced in this course. The main contents include general design method of vehicle, design requirements, classification and analysis of structure form, determination of main parameters, calculation of work load of components, evaluation of system performance, and analysis of construction scheme of clutch, transmission, drive axle, suspension, steering and braking. This course lays a good foundation on graduate designs and related technical work of students after graduation.
