This course introduces the basic concept of intelligent transportation system (ITS), the development status and the development trend, as well as the applications of modern ITS; the main technologies, architecture and system integration methods of ITS will also be introduced; the advanced urban traffic management system, traffic signal control system, electronic toll collection system and the evaluation of ITS will be explained in detail.
