The course is a basic knowledge introduction of special vehicle design. The course covers general design issues, introduction of special purpose vehicles and special vehicles, basic knowledge of mechanical design, general assembly and equipment of special purpose vehicles, general methods of special vehicle design, preliminary design of van vehicle and cases introduction of special vehicle design. In addition, a number of vehicle standards are also taught in the course.
