This course is an introduction to the Industrial Design and Visual Communication Design. It mainly introduces the concepts and principles of design, design features and the basic knowledge of related fields, analyzes the theoretical problems influencing design development and directions. This course makes students understand the design history of both China and the World, major design schools, clear designer responsibility, and have a deeper understanding of the future development direction of design.
