Modeling and simulation,one of the main contents of modern science and technology research,have penetrated into various disciplines and engineering technology fields. This course is a professional course. The main contents include: basic concepts of modeling and simulation, the principles of mathematical model and modeling, the methodology and simulation analysis of differential equation modeling, the model and simulation based on linear algebra and difference equation method, the artificial neural network modeling and simulation applications, the examples of modeling and simulation for typical problems. PhD and master candidates are guided to learn and master the basic methods and techniques of modeling and simulation with some vivid and interesting cases to explore the ideas and methods of modeling and simulation, and to solve practical engineering problems by the built relationship between theoretical knowledge and engineering practice.
