Hua Chen received his Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2007. She is now a Senior Engineer at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Her research interests include engineering graphics, mechanical design and parallel robot.

She mainly taught basic courses of undergraduates such as Mechanical Drawing and Engineering Drawing, and carried out experimental courses such as Curriculum Design of Machine Design and Disassembly and Installation Experiment of Motorcycle Engine. She has served as the PI or co-PI of more than 10 education and teaching reform and research projects of USTB, participated in one key project of the national key R & D program, and participated in one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She published more than 20 academic papers, and participated in the compilation of national and university-level planning textbooks more than 10. She has guided students to participate in the National Advanced Mapping Technology Innovation Competition for many years, and supervised a number of science and technology innovation projects.

Hua Chen is a member of the Standardization Committee of the Beijing Institute of Cartography.
