Since Xu Qian graduated in 2002, she has been giving lectures on mechanical drawing, mechanical design foundation and other courses.

In 2012, she won the title of "Advanced Individual in Teachers' Morality" at the school level. In 2011, 2013 and 2015, she won the first and second prizes of the Basic Skills Competition for Young Teachers in Schools and Colleges, and in 2013, 2016 and 2018, she won the title of "I Love My Teacher-the Best Teacher in My Mind". In the past ten years, she has guided her students to participate in the National Cartography Competition and the Beijing Design Expression Competition, both of which have won the first and second prizes.
