Li yimang, received his MS degree in Industrial Design from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1995.He is now a Lecturer at Department of industrial design, School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science & Technology og Beijing. His main research directions include Modern Design Method, Product Design, Design Strategy of small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.

Courses he teaches for undergraduate students include Basic Design, Design Methodology, Product Design 1, and Design Strategy for postgraduate students.

In the past 20 years, he was involed in hundreds of product design projects, which scope in household appliances, medical devices, instruments, vehicles and other fields, for clients such as State Grid, China Academy of Astronautics, BOE and many other small and medium-sized enterprises
