Yang Lihui graduated from Department of Graphic Design from Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University with a master's degree. Since 2006,  taught in the Department of Industrial Design, University of Science & Technology Beijing School of Mechanical Engineering. Main research interests are innovation of cultural and creative products, brand image design, industry-university cooperation and training of design talents. Lectures: The Design Thinking and Methodology, Character Design, Package Design, Visual Identity Design, Traditional Crafts, etc.

As the person in charge of teaching, she undertook many teaching reform and teaching research projects, and the course of "Design Thinking and Method" was awarded the third batch of research-based teaching demonstration courses of University of Science & Technology Beijing. Actively guide undergraduate innovative projects, among which the national project "Innovative Design of Packaging Reuse in University Campus" won the first prize. The project "Training Compound Talents of Visual Communication Design Specialty Based on Interdisciplinary" won the second prize of the 26th University of Science & Technology Beijing Education and Teaching Achievement Award; In 2019, won the Excellence Award of the University of Science & Technology Beijing Young Teachers Basic Skills Competition; In 2018,  awarded the title of "Advanced Worker of University of Science & Technology Beijing".

In scientific research, presided over or participated in many basic business expense projects and horizontal design projects of enterprises in central universities, and has rich experience in commercial design projects. In 2019, In 2019, appointed as cultural innovation consultant of Beijing Tiananmen Tourism Service Group.
