PhD Jianhong Yang is the professor at School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He is currently the deputy director of the department of Mechatronic Engineering, the leader of the research team of Advanced Detection and Intelligent Manufacturing and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Fluid Interaction with Material, Ministry of Education of China. His current research interests include fault diagnosis of equipment, intelligent manufacturing, wireless sensor network, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, material performance evaluation at high temperature, biomedical signal processing. As the principal investigator, he was in charge of many research project including the task of National Major Scientific Instrument and Equipment Development Project, the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the research and development projects from enterprises. He teaches the undergraduate course of Computer Control Technology and the graduate course of Signal Analysis and Processing. He has published more than 30 SCI/EI papers in recent years and won 8 State authorized invention patents and 2 registrations of Copyright of Computer Software. He won the first class Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Hubei Province in 2013 and the honorary title of Advanced Young Metallurgical Science and Technology Workers of the Chinese Society for Metals.
