Shuaishuai Liang received his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2015, then worked as a postdoc fellow in Tsinghua University starting from the same year. Since Apr. 2017, he has been an assistant professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. His research interests include: Microfluidic design and fabrication, Surface engineering and coatings, etc. He has been the principal investigator for scientific projects from several foundation institutes, including NSFC, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, etc. He also has been participating among the main researchers in 7 other national, provincial, and collaborative research programs. His selected scientific researches have been published in over 20 papers on SCI specialized journals like Small, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Ceramics International, Carbon, Langmuir, etc. He has received the Science and Technology Award by the China Aviation Society in 2016.
