Beiying Liu received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Science and Technology in 2003. He is now a associate professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University.

Dr.Liu’s research interests are in the areas of advanced manufacturing and measuring technologies, focusing on manufacturing and design of special equipment data processing and precise measuring of multi-sensor, and multivariable experiment analysis.

He has led over 30 National natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)projects and its relevant research. Over 10 companies including Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co.Ltd. and Embraco are using his research results.
