Prof. Tang received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1996. She is now an associate professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Her research interests include Mechanical design, manufacturing and automation technology, Logistics engineering and standardization technology and etc. In recent years, she has presided over and participated in a number of projects from National Sci-Tech Support Plan, National Key Research and Development Plan, National public welfare industry research projects, and also enterprise cooperation projects. As the vice director of Pallet Professional Committee of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, she has developed 10 national standards of pallets.
