Xiang Dong received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Chongqing University in 2000. He is now an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science & Technology Beijing. His research interests include Environmentally Conscious Design and Manufacturing (ECD&M), Recycling tech. of E-wastes, and Reliability and Security of Mechanical Product. He has undertaken 13 national projects and 4 enterprise projects as the project leader. He has obtained 33 authorized invention patents and published more than 60 papers. Xiang Dong has been the Deputy Secretary of National Technical Committee 337 on Green Manufacturing Technology of Equipment Manufacturing Industry of Standardization Administration of China.
