Zhehan Chen received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Beihang University in 2013. He is now an associate professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He currently studies artificial intelligent and machine vision technologies, and promotes their deployment in the fields such as intelligent manufacturing and smart logistics. His research interests include process monitoring and quality control of additive manufacturing, visual inspection, image processing and intelligent robot.

He has served as the PI or co-PI of more than 20 research projects, which are funded by the NFSC, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and many industries.
