Li Sujian received his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Machinery Specialty from Beijing University of Science and Technology in 1993. He is now a Professor at  Department of Logistics Engineering at the University. In recent years, his research focuses on logistics information system and enterprise logistics management.

He is responsible for a number of scientific research projects, with a total funding of more than 10 million Yuan. He has published nearly 100 scientific research papers and 5 monographs. He has trained nearly 60 doctors and masters. He has won two first prizes of science and technology progress award of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and two second prizes of science and Technology Progress Award.

At present, he is also the executive director of China Logistics Society, vice president of Logistics Engineering branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society, and editor in chief of Logistics Technology and Application Magazine.
