ZHANG Jie Received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1991. He is now a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing(USTB).

His research interests include metal forming and equipment behavior, with emphasis on their applications to Metallurgical machinery and Steel rolling.
