Hongbo Li received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Design and Theory from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2009. He is now a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. His research interests include mechanical behavior of strip rolling process, strip profile control and surface topography control. He has served as the PI or co-PI of more than 20 research projects, include National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Major Project, and Enterprise Cooperation Project. He has more than 40 technical publications as the first author or corresponding author, has 9 patents for invention as the first inventor.
