Zhang Dazhi received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Design and Theory from University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing in 2000. He is now an associate professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. His current research focuses include industrial automation system integration and application, process automation system modelling and control optimization, and large-scale industrial process detection technology and its intelligence.
The projects he presided over or participated in includes, large volume weight low cost and high quality titanium strip industrial manufacturing complete technology research and development and industrialization of National key R&D plan, metal matrix composite 3D cold printing equipment and material development and application verification of Beijing science and technology plan project, high-precision panel strip intelligent cold continuous rolling production line of National Development and Reform Commission, steelmaking-continuous casting-rolling whole process simulation and optimization control design platform of "863" plan, High-precision aluminum plate and strip scratch damage mechanism and elimination technology of Guangdong Province Ministry of Education Industry-University-Research Project, and other vertical projects. As the general technical director, he has completed many enterprise projects, including the automation system of many wide hot strip rolling production lines and cold strip rolling production lines, the rapid cooling system of heavy plate rolling, and the Laminar cooling control system of hot strip rolling. He has published more than 70 papers and compiled a textbook as chief editor.
