Dr. Yanbiao Feng received his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Science Technology Beijing in January 2017. Dr. Feng’s research focuses on advanced hybrid electric propulsion systems. His research interests take him into the modelling, testing, design and control optimization of advanced hybrid electric powertrain and fuel cell systems. Prior to joining University of Science Technology Beijing, Dr. Feng was a research associate fellow at the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, where he developed advanced hybrid electric vessels, sponsored by the Washington Foundation and Seaspan.
