Prof. Jichao Hong obtained her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2020. He is currently an associate professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering in USTB, and he is the Senior member and Youth Work Committee member of the China Electrotechnical Society. He is a Member of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and China Highway Society. He is also an IEEE member and the Director of IEEE PES Electric Vehicle Committee Power Battery Branch. His current research interests include Advanced energy storage systems, Big data mining and analysis, Power system integration and intelligent control technology. He presided over one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and one Central Universities Basic Research Operation Fund. As a technical backbone, he participated in three National Natural Science Foundations of China, four National Key Research and Development Programs, two special projects of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, etc. He is a reviewer for over 20 SCI journals, and has published over 20 EI/SCI papers, including the journals of Applied Energy, Energy, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Energy Research, Journal of Energy Research, and International Journal of Energy Research. He has also applied for 6 invention patents. Some of the research results have been promoted and applied in the National monitoring and management platform for new energy vehicles of China, and served for millions of new energy vehicles.
