Taking the development of the modern equipment manufacturing industry as the background, the research team of Advanced Detection and Intelligent Manufacturing focuses their research interests on fault diagnosis and intelligent control, wireless sensor network applications, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, laser ultrasonic, advanced machine vision detection technology and mechanical system dynamics. Their research work includes both frontier basic theory and engineering application. The team has 4 members, including 2 professors and 2 associate professors, with 10 doctoral students and 22 master students. In recent years, the team has undertaken a number of national and provincial scientific research projects and enterprise cooperation projects, and won 1 first prize of provincial and ministerial Natural Science Award and 1 first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award. In 2013, the team was selected into the "Young Talents Program of Beijing Institutions of Higher Learning". The members have published more than 100 academic papers in famous journals and important international conferences, among which more than 60 have been indexed by SCI/EI. The team has published 1 monograph and has trained more than 40 doctors and masters.
